An engineering graduate from Mahatma Gandhi University and an alumna of the School of Management Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Dr. Ranjana Varghese is also an FDP alumna of IIM Ahmedabad. She completed her doctoral research at CUSAT on a pioneering topic in Kerala: Political Empowerment of the Elected Women Representatives from Kudumbashree in Local Self Government Institutions.
Dr. Ranjana brings with her two decades of diverse professional experience across Information Technology, Telecom, Manufacturing, and Sales, having worked with organizations such as Infosys Technologies and Idea Cellular Limited.
She has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and contributed chapters to edited academic books, focusing on women empowerment, governance, digital marketing, and contemporary management practices.
Dr. Ranjana is an Executive Member of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Kerala Chapter, and an expert panel member with the Kerala Startup Mission, where she is actively involved in evaluating and mentoring startups. She also serves as a resource person for management development programs at IIM Kozhikode. Her training portfolio includes senior officials of the Government of Kerala, as well as managerial and non-managerial staff of various organizations. She is also a regular trainer with professional bodies like the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Her expertise spans all aspects of management, behavioral sciences, digital marketing, and women-centric issues. Additionally, Dr. Ranjana is a regular speaker during Union and State Budget discussions on various television channels in Kerala and is frequently invited as a resource person for managerial, economic, and social events both within and outside the state.
