Joshin John is a Fellow of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow and graduated as Mechanical Engineer from College of Engineering Trivandrum, University of Kerala. Prior to joining XIME, he was an Assistant Professor in the area of Operations Management at Rajagiri Business School, Kochi and was a visiting faculty at FORE School of Management, New Delhi.

He has been associated with professional bodies such as Production & Operations Management Society, Society of Operations Management (India), and Institute of Marine Engineers (India), and has presented research papers in several reputed international forums. In recent years, he has published research articles and case-studies for reputed journals & publishing houses such as Harvard Business Publishing, International Journal of Strategic Decision Sciences, Marine Engineers Review, and Udyog Pragati - Journal for Practicing Managers. Dr. Joshin John has also undertaken over 50 consulting projects for upstream - oil & gas (offshore), marine, shipbuilding & yacht manufacturing industries, which include major clients listed in Fortune 500 companies. His research interests include Sustainable Business Models, Green Supply Chains, System Dynamics, and developing Decision Support Systems.

Has undertaken consultancy projects in manufacturing and service sectors including projects related to shipbuilding, design engineering for upstream oil & gas sector, logistics management, analytics, and healthcare service operations.
