Prof. Alok Krishna is the Group Marketing Head at XIME and an Associate Professor at XIME Kochi.
He was earlier the Officiating Director at XIME Kochi. With over 23 years of total experience, that includes a 12 year stint in academics and over 11 years in the retail-banking and in consumer durables industry, he specialises in the marketing area, specifically focussed on Digital Marketing. He also teaches subjects like Product & Brand Management, Retail Marketing and core Marketing papers.
He has organised several MDPs and was the resource person for MDPs: Professional Sales Management, Finance for Non Finance, Marketing Research. He was a resource person for OBPs of Coconut Development Board, Crust & Crumb, VKC and Kudumbashree, Govt. of Kerala. He was also a resource person for the GD Bloom session at Nitta Gelatin India Ltd. He was also sent on deputation to LMIMS as the Dean to manage its MBA program during the academic year 2019-20.
He has attended FDPs on “Research & Pedagogy” from IIM Ahmedabad, “Market Research and Analytics” from IIM Kozhikode and an online FDP on “How to teach online -2020” from IIM Indore. Prof. Alok holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal.
