Lavanya is a Practitioner Academic, who turned to Academia, by choice from a 25 year
long global leadership career in HR and Learning & Development roles in matrix
organizations like General Electric, Genpact, Sutherland and Zellis in India and other
geos. She is an alumni of St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam and earnt her PGDBM from
IMT Ghaziabad in International Business & Marketing. She is a certified Leadership
coach from GE Crotonville, and a Master coach in Communication, Soft Skills, Voice
and Accent and Global culture from Genpact. Lavanya is also Green Belt certified in Six
Sigma.
She is adept at Manager capability building, and behavioral trainings along with General
Management & leadership coaching and mentoring. Her strengths include curating
bespoke training plans, deploying innovative approaches to learning per personality
type, being a Thomas Assess certified trainer. Lavanya has also led many global
business transitions and transformation projects working on the people metrics, re-
engineering and set up of managed services in global locations. She is also
experienced in training and certifying trainers and setting up Centers of Excellence in
Learning. She is a certified trainer and practitioner for POSH from CHRMP, having
served as IC Presiding officer empaneled by Kerala Women’s Commission.
Lavanya is a Sr. Assistant Professor at XIME specializing in HRM, OB, OD and
Business Communication, Voice & Accent neutralization skills training, who mentors the
students to amp up their employability skills. Lavanya has experience setting up Talent
Acquisition & Learning CoEs to build efficient talent, and now actively supports central
recruitment & faculty development at XIME. She also doubles up as a communication
coach for the faculty & students at XIS – XIME International school in Kottayam, Kerala.
